str.rfind()
str.rfind() is a Python method in the String Methods category. Returns the highest index where `sub` is found, or -1. The syntax is str.rfind(sub, start=0, end=len(str)). Returns: Index or -1. A typical example: "hello".rfind("l") # 3. A close sibling is str.upper(), which returns a copy of the string with all characters converted to uppercase.
